He was born in Thessaloniki in 1978. In 2002 he graduated from the Psychology Department of the Aristotle University and moved to Granada in Spain where he obtained his PhD in Clinical Psychophysiology. He has done research on fractal physiology, cardiorespiratory dynamics, capnography biofeedback, economic decision making, human defensive reflexes, postural control, and scholarly communication. In 2012 he co-founded an international organization devoted to the promotion of an open and transparent culture in scholarly communication. After wandering around for some time he ended up back to Granada, currently working as a researcher in the Human Physiology Laboratory at Granada University’s Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC) and as head of communication and dissemination for the European project PsyCris.
